This is a 24 x 30 x 1.5 inch piece on a gallery profile canvas. This piece started off experimentally with differently layering and the use of some irridescent and pearlized colors. I was then inspired as I simply continued to listen to music to see where this one would go. It’s often said that music is a universal language with the ability to communicate regardless of whether or not the lyrics are understood. For me, it can even be more than that. It’s the language of the spirit with the ability to change a mood, enhance a moment or simply allow oneself to exist solely with it in a comptemplative state.
