This is a 24 x 36 x 1.5 x inch gallery profile piece. This item started off as an exercise in layering different colors to create texture. As I worked the layering, I continued to be distracted by some of the mundanities of life. It was frustrating enough that it actually enabled me to establish the painting’s ultimate direction.
