Number 281, “A Bridge to Anywhere” is a passage in pigment—a 16×20 acrylic on canvas that invites the viewer to imagine movement beyond boundaries, connection beyond certainty, and possibility beyond place. This piece explores emotional architecture: how we build meaning, how we cross thresholds, and how we find direction in abstraction.
I was struck by the beauty of a picture on Facebook showing the Oresund Bridge during sunset. The bridge apparently runs between Denmark and Sweden. I cannot paint in a photo-realistic way, but thought it would be cool to paint a bridge against some interesting colors.
Medium & Dimensions:
Acrylic on gallery-profile canvas
16″ × 20″ × 1.5″
Layered, expansive, and compositionally fluid.
